Metro 2039 Collector's Edition Price: Official, Retail and Leaked

Collector's Edition price at a glance

Three kinds of price, explained

Official prices

Deep Silver has published prices only through the digital stores. On Steam and the Xbox Store in the US, the Standard Edition is $69.99 and the Deluxe Edition is $99.99. The Collector's Edition is not a digital product, and Deep Silver's announcement gives it no price.

Retail listing prices

Physical editions are priced by retailers. When pre-orders opened on October 13, 2026, UK shop The Game Collection listed the Collector's Edition at £259.95 for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. Smyths Toys listed it at £279.99 for PS5 and Xbox, according to the collector site Collector's Editions. Amazon UK had product pages for all three platforms but showed no price.

Leaked prices

On October 10, 2026, the French deals site Dealabs published leaked European prices, credited to the leaker billbil-kun: €299.99 and £259.99 for the Collector's Edition. Amazon UK's database briefly showed the same UK figures. These numbers are unofficial, even where they match a retail listing.

Reported but unverified

Collector's Editions lists a US GameStop price of $299.99. We could not check the GameStop page directly, so treat this as a report rather than a confirmed US price. No other US retailer price has been verified as of 2026-10-14.

All editions: official, retail and leaked prices

UK retailers call the physical Standard Edition the Day One Edition. It contains the game and, for pre-orders, the Specialist Pack. The physical Deluxe Edition adds the Exclusive Steelbook, Hardback Art Book, Story Expansion DLC, Digital Art Book and Digital Soundtrack.

What the helmet really costs

The Collector's Edition is the physical Deluxe Edition plus the Wearable Replica Spartan Helmet. Subtracting one from the other shows what you pay for the helmet itself.

In the UK the helmet works out at about £165 on top of the Deluxe Edition. If you would not pay that for the replica on its own, the physical Deluxe Edition gets you every other item in the box. See the editions comparison and the Deluxe Edition guide.

Price by platform

The Game Collection charges the same £259.95 on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. The PC version is a code in a box rather than a disc, but it still includes the helmet, Steelbook and art book. Smyths Toys listed only PS5 and Xbox versions.

Digital prices are also the same across stores in the US: $69.99 and $99.99 on Steam and the Xbox Store. Prices in other currencies on the PlayStation Store, Epic Games Store and regional storefronts are set per store; check your own store page.

Discounts and ways to save

• Steam loyalty discount: Steam offers 10% off a Digital Deluxe Edition pre-order if you bought any qualifying digital METRO game. It does not apply to the Collector's Edition.
• Pre-order bonus: the Specialist Pack is included with every pre-ordered edition, so you do not need the most expensive edition to get it.
• Physical Standard: at The Game Collection the Day One Edition is £54.95 as of 2026-10-14, below the leaked £59.99 UK figure. Prices vary by region and retailer.
• Skip the box, keep the extras: the physical Deluxe Edition (£94.95 at The Game Collection) has everything except the helmet.

How it compares with Metro Exodus

The last big METRO collector's set, the Metro Exodus Spartan Collector's Edition from 2018, cost £129.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 on its own. That box held a statue, dog tag, postcards and patches, but no copy of the game. Bundled with the Aurora Limited Edition, which did include the game, it cost £214.99 / $234.99 / €244.99.

The METRO 2039 Collector's Edition includes the game and the full physical Deluxe Edition in one box. At £259.95 in the UK, it costs about £45 more than the 2018 bundle did. Read more on the past editions page.

How to read a price you see online

• Check the edition name. Some listings and posts mix up the Deluxe and Collector's Editions; only the Collector's Edition includes the helmet.
• Check the seller. A marketplace seller is not the retailer itself and can charge any price, including well above the retailer's list price.
• Check the date. Every price on this page carries an as-of date because listings change.
• Check the currency and tax. Compare like with like: a euro price with VAT is not directly comparable with a US price before sales tax.
• Check the platform. PC copies are code-in-box; console copies come with a disc.

Taxes, shipping and imports

UK retail prices shown to consumers include VAT. Delivery charges are set by each retailer. If you import a copy from another country, you may owe customs duty, import VAT and handling fees on arrival, which can add a significant amount to a large, heavy box.

Will the price change?

We cannot predict retailer pricing. Deep Silver may still announce an official price, and more retailers may list the edition in other regions. We update this page and its as-of dates when a price is confirmed, and log every change on the news page. For where to order, see the pre-order guide.
