Where to pre-order the Collector's Edition

Deep Silver says the Collector's Edition is "available at selected retailers – while stocks last". It has not published a retailer list. These are the listings we could confirm or that are reported, as of 2026-10-14:

Deep Silver itself warned in August 2026 that the edition is limited and likely to sell out quickly once pre-orders opened. If you want one, check several selected retailers in your region rather than waiting for a single store.

Pre-order notes by region

• United Kingdom: the best-documented market. The Game Collection, Smyths Toys and Amazon UK all have Collector's Edition pages, and The Game Collection also lists the physical Deluxe (£94.95) and Day One (£54.95) editions.
• United States: no US retailer price is verified as of 2026-10-14. A collector site reports $299.99 at GameStop.
• Europe: the leaked €299.99 price came from Dealabs, which also reported that the physical editions would be sold through major retailers in France. No Eurozone listing is verified here yet.
• Australia, New Zealand and Asia: the game arrives on February 5, 2027 in these territories. Collector's Edition retailers are not confirmed as of 2026-10-14.

Collector's or Deluxe: decide before you queue

Limited editions can disappear while you are still deciding, so settle the question before a retailer page goes live. The Collector's Edition and the physical Deluxe Edition share the same disc or code, Steelbook, hardback art book, Story Expansion DLC, Digital Art Book and Digital Soundtrack.

The only difference is the wearable helmet, which costs about £165 extra at The Game Collection as of 2026-10-14. If the helmet is the reason you are buying, go for the Collector's Edition; if not, the Deluxe Edition is easier to find and much cheaper. Our price guide has the full comparison.

Official giveaways

Deep Silver runs two promotions. Signing up to the Collector's Edition mailing list, open since August 24, 2026, enters you into a draw for one Collector's Edition, to be delivered ready for launch day. The general METRO newsletter offers a separate draw for ten copies of the game. Both are subject to Deep Silver's own terms and regional restrictions.

Where to pre-order the digital editions

The Collector's Edition cannot be bought on any digital store. If you want the Deluxe extras without the helmet, the digital Deluxe Edition is the simplest route; see the Deluxe Edition guide.

The pre-order bonus

Every pre-ordered edition, including the Collector's Edition, comes with the Specialist Pack. It contains three blueprints that unlock swappable backpack upgrades early: the Equipment, Chemtech and Munitions Specialist Pouches. Only one can be equipped at a time. The pre-order bonus page explains each one.

How to pre-order the Collector's Edition, step by step

1. Choose your platform first. Console copies are discs for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S; PC copies are code-in-box.
2. Open the retailer's own product page, not a search result or a reseller listing.
3. Check the contents list for the Wearable Replica Spartan Helmet, so you know it is the Collector's Edition and not the Deluxe Edition.
4. Read the payment terms. Some shops charge when you order and others when they dispatch.
5. Check delivery and cancellation terms, including the dispatch date and any delivery charge for a large box.
6. Keep your confirmation email until the edition arrives.

If the Collector's Edition is sold out

• Check the other selected retailers in your region; availability differs by store and platform.
• Avoid paying above list price to marketplace sellers before the edition has even shipped.
• Sign up for official news from Deep Silver at its METRO 2039 site so you hear about any official update first.
• Consider the physical Deluxe Edition, which has every item except the helmet; see Collector's vs Deluxe.

We will not guess at restocks. If Deep Silver announces new retailers or regions, we will add them here and log the change on the news page.

What happens after you pre-order

• Launch: the game releases on February 4, 2027, or February 5 in some territories including Asia, Australia and New Zealand. See the release date page.
• Physical delivery: each retailer sets its own dispatch and delivery dates for the Collector's Edition box.
• Specialist Pack: included with the pre-order; how it is delivered for physical copies has not been detailed as of 2026-10-14.
• Story Expansion DLC: arrives later in 2027 for Deluxe and Collector's Edition owners.
• Payment: digital stores and retailers each apply their own pre-order payment rules, so check yours.

Cancellations and returns

Each retailer has its own pre-order and returns policy. In the UK and the EU, consumer law usually gives you a cancellation period for goods bought online, but the details and exceptions vary. Read the terms before you order a high-value item like this one.
