## Independence and disclaimer

- This is an **unofficial fan site**. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Deep Silver, PLAION GmbH or 4A Games.
- METRO, METRO 2039 and related names are trademarks of PLAION GmbH. They are used here only to identify the game.
- We use **no official artwork, screenshots, logos, fonts or music**. Every illustration is an original drawing.
- Official trailers are shown only through YouTube's own embedded player.
- We do not sell the game, take pre-orders or use affiliate links. We earn money only from clearly labelled ads on some pages.

## How we check facts

1. **Official sources first:** Deep Silver and 4A Games announcements, the official YouTube channel and official store pages.
2. **Named retailers second:** prices and availability come from specific retailer pages, always with an as-of date.
3. **Press and leaks last:** we label leaked or reported figures as unofficial and never present them as prices.
4. **Unknowns stay unknown:** when something is not announced, we write "not confirmed" with the date, rather than guess.
5. **Every page lists its sources** at the bottom so you can check them yourself.

## Updates

We review prices, stock notes and dates when Deep Silver, 4A Games or a listed retailer changes them, and regularly until launch on February 4, 2027. Each page shows its last update date, and changes are logged on the [news page](https://metro2039collectorsedition.com/news). We never promise stock or restocks.
